The situation in Georgia is disgraceful and increasingly desperate. Yesterday, we saw more violent repression of protesters and detained journalist @MAmaghlobeli has been on hunger strike for 23 days. Georgian authorities must release her and other wrongfully detained protesters.

Important meeting today about the situation in Georgia with representatives from Georgian Association of Exiled Georgians and former ambassador Adén. The situation in Georgia needs both condemnation of the illegitim election and support for the people’s wish to belong to Europe.
