Our best course of action is to persist in our fight for freedom. If we let rational voices be silenced, extremists will triumph. And surely, we won't let them win, will we?

یک شرکت تلویزیونی و خبری ایرانی ویدئویی از یک نامزد حزب ملی‌گرای نژادپرست که ریشه در نازیسم دارد را به اشتراک می‌گذارد. ۳۰ سال پیش، نمایندگان این حزب در خیابان‌های سوئد از هیتلر حمایت می‌کردند. حزبی که همکاران سوئدی‌اش تمام تلاش خود را می‌کنند تا پناهندگان، از جمله بسیاری از ایرانی‌ها، اجازه اقامت در سوئد را نگیرند. حزبی که مسئولیت بزرگی در این دارد که بسیاری از افراد با پیشینه ایرانی در سوئد نمی‌توانند ویزا برای والدین و بستگان خود بگیرند. این واقعاً غم‌انگیز است.

Today, on June 3rd, 35 years ago, the man who deceived the world into believing he was a champion of freedom died. A tyrant who laid the foundations for all the misery today. A man with the blood of many on his hands. Who knows, June 3rd might one day become the national day of a free Iran. It's a complicated material. I understand that it's difficult. All european sanction regimes are based on the same framework. In reality, it doesn't matter what the sanction regime is called. What matters is that they gave what we need, a political signal and an economic signal. But the important part is that we continue with our maximum pressure. Our job is far from done.

Today, the European Union took further steps to distance itself from the Islamic regime. As the saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day, and the same applies to our fight for freedom. Since September 2022, we have, in various ways, done what we can to be the voice for those who gave their lives for freedom.
