I have raised this for three years and tried to help by co-financing a few Starlink units sent into the country. We cannot afford to wait until a crisis erupts before we act. I know groups like the one led by Mehdi Yahyanejad have done important work, sending many units — but it’s far from enough. The Iranian diaspora has the resources. جهان نفس خود را حبس کرده است در حالی که راکت‌ها و بمب‌ها از هر سو فرو می‌ریزند. افکار من با مردم ایران است — مردمی که نزدیک به پنجاه سال است گروگانِ افراطیونی هستند که مسئولیت کامل آنچه امروز شاهدش هستیم بر عهده آنهاست. بگذارید امیدوار باشیم که این بخشی از یک استراتژی هوشمندانه برای فردایی بهتر است، اما متأسفانه هیچ نشانه‌ای از آن دیده نمی‌شود. کسانی که صدای آژیرها را پیش از بارش بمب‌ها شنیده‌اند یا به سوی پناهگاه دویده‌اند، می‌دانند این لحظات چه وحشتی دارد — هم در اسرائیل و هم در ایران. ما باید در برابر وسوسه‌ی تحلیل‌های ساده‌انگارانه مقاومت کنیم. در این لحظه، آنچه اهمیت دارد وضوح در هدف و شجاعت برای رویارویی با آینده است.

The world is holding its breath as rockets and bombs rain down. My thoughts are with the Iranian people — held hostage for nearly 50 years by fanatics who bear full responsibility for what we are witnessing today. Let us hope this is part of a thoughtful strategy for a better tomorrow. Sadly, there is no sign of that. Anyone who has ever heard the wail of sirens before the bombs fall, or had to run for shelter, knows the terror faced by those enduring this now — in both Israel and Iran. We must resist the temptation of naive speculation. For now, what matters most is clarity of purpose — and the courage to face what lies ahead.
