Today's meeting in Luxembourg was unusually lengthy, involving not only the Union's foreign ministers but also defense ministers, underscoring the gravity of the discussions. Despite extensive deliberation on listing the IRGC as a terrorist organization, consensus remained elusive. With the next meeting scheduled for May 7th, it's evident that we're on the cusp of achieving this crucial milestone. I remain hopeful that another concerted effort will be the catalyst for progress. This marks a significant stride for Europe, which understands our objectives. Let's support Europe in making the right decision. The relentless brutality of the Islamic Republic has persisted for too long. In Iran, the resurgence of the morality police has led to the harassment and abuse of young men and women. Countless innocent protesters languish behind bars, enduring torture, rape, and the violation of their basic human rights. Meanwhile, the incessant barrage of IRGC rockets on Israel continues unabated, inflicting terror upon an entire populace. Countries such as Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon have fallen victim to the megalomaniacal ambitions of the IRGC and Khamenei, as have the Palestinian people. It's time for Europe and the world to muster courage. Our attempts to engage with Russia, China, and Iran have yielded mixed results, with geopolitical tensions escalating and regions destabilized. It's imperative to abandon denial and fear and confront these challenges head-on. #IRGCterrorists
