We have a deal on ETS. I think the European Parliament will have a good mandate for the trialogue. The last days negotiations resulted in 2027-2032: phase out date for free allowances, LRF: 4.6% in 2029 instead of 4.5%, and above 63% in ambition. Vote 22 July. @TheProgressives

The European Parliament rejected the ETS. The Conservatives (EPP) can not do bad deals for the climate with the right-wing extremists and then trust that we will, in final vote, vote it through in the parliament. With our alt. compromises, we succeeded in ensuring that emissions trading becomes the tool required to comply with CL. Our proposal is "4 times Sweden" better than @peterliese's proposal. Jag är glad att ENVI idag tog tydlig ställning för ökade klimatambitioner.
